Shade is a 14 year old, black, spayed, domestic short-haired cat. She was surrendered to Talbot Humane on 11/4/11, because her owner could not afford to keep her.
This older cat seems much younger than her years! She readily approaches people and is friendly. She had the same home for all of her 14 years when she suddenly landed in this shelter! What happened?? She is hopeful that this is a very temporary situation and that she will get her forever home soon! She will require an indoor environment as she is declawed. Shade is reportedly shy with everyone, but that does not seem evident here. She lived with dogs (they left her alone) and other cats. She did not live with children. She is hoping to find a person she can curl up with and spend the rest of her life. She will probably have many years left, and she does know the value of a good home with someone who loves her. Could you be that person?
